How can you achieve success in 9-12 months when it takes other schools of this type much longer?
The maximum number of students that we will ever have is 24. This gives your son the advantage of receiving focused individual coaching and counseling on a daily basis. We also use methods and teach tools that are unique to Eagle's Nest School which assist in creating more rapid healing and change than other traditional methods of forced compliance and forced behavioral change.

What is this "Individualized Special Healing Work" or "Tai Yi Energy Work" that you offer?
While new to western cultures, this wisdom and its non-invasive techniques has been known in the Chinese culture for thousands of years. These techniques are much like how acupuncture can assist the physical body, yet without the needles. The Chinese name for this work is Tai Yi - the Western name is Life Energy Flow. The use of these techniques by those trained in this ancient Chinese work is an important aspect to the overall outcome of Eagle's Nest School.

Why are the Parent Workshops so important?
Without parents being committed to creating a new relationship with their son, the opportunity for success is dramatically reduced. As with the boys, we do not engage in judgment or blame with parents or other family members. It is crucial, however, that each member of the family dedicates themselves to a new family dynamic while their son is with us at Eagle's Nest School. Parent Workshops are offered every 3 months as an opportunity for each parent and older sibling to be assisted in this family re-creation . In order to achieve the most positive outcome for your son and family, we highly encourage each parent to attend at least two of these workshops to learn the basic tools of the change process and to be taught alternative parenting techniques. Attending one of the workshops is a prerequisite for the Warranty Program. [Read more...]

Does Eagle's Nest School have any religious or spiritual affiliation?
We teach that in order for one to heal and live a balanced life one must develop and practice a strong spiritual set of values. We honor all religious and spiritual beliefs and practices, but we do not suggest any one practice over another. We believe that each boy must make their own choices while listening to and honoring their parent's values.
